The selection in the MICHELIN Guide Belgium and Luxembourg 2026 confirms what food lovers already know: Flanders is a destination for outstanding culinary experiences!

The Flanders region now boasts an impressive 140 restaurants featured, spanning both Michelin stars and Bib Gourmand distinctions. At the top of the list, Zilte in Antwerp and Boury in Roeselare continue to retain their three Michelin stars. Flanders is also home to 16 two-star restaurants, including two new additions, as well as 71 one-star restaurants – 10 of which are new entrants in this category. A particularly notable highlight comes from Antwerp, where Nick Bril has been awarded two stars for the reinvented The Jane.

This year, eight out of nine new restaurants receiving their first star are located in Flanders. The Bib Gourmand list, which highlights high quality at reasonable prices, is also expanding and now includes 51 Flemish restaurants, seven of which are new additions.  Altogether, the figures tell a clear story: Flanders is not only maintaining its strong reputation – the region continues to strengthen and develop it further.
