About Antor Sweden

Welcome to ANTOR, the Association of National Tourist Offices and Representatives. Our Swedish members comprise national tourist offices, Embassies and representatives’ agencies which are represented in Sweden.

ANTOR is a voluntary, non-political organisation which was established in the Sweden for many years ago, run by an elected board of members. The ANTOR board is represented by a chairman, vice chairman, treasurer, PR relations and a secretary.

ANTOR’S website is designed to provide the travelling public, travel trade and travel media with one single place where the contact details of the world’s tourist offices can be found. It offers detailed practical information, assets and travel features on our member destinations with useful links to help make your journey easier and safer.

About 30 members make up the association from America to Europe through Asia. Do not hesitate to contact us or you can contact directly through our members if you want to know more about the destination that you are dreaming to visit.

ANTOR’s purpose is to promote safe, ethical, sustainable and inspirational global travel for all.

Our objectives include supporting our members in providing an open forum for our members to meet and exchange ideas, to strength close relationships with all other sectors of the travel industry and to connect the travelling public with our members. Also, during the monthly meetings, different actors from the tourism sector are invited to inform members about the latest trends, relevant information and cooperation opportunities.

Tourism is an essential pillar of the world’s economy and livelihoods of many countries depend on it, especially the most vulnerable. In many parts of the world, the protection of biodiversity relies heavily on the tourism sector, from conservation to the revenue generated.

This association holds annual events in Sweden in order to have dialogues with the tourism sector. The emblematic annual ANTOR Awards Ceremony event is also held for the best tourist article in Sweden that includes two categories, printed and digital.
